Why are the contact details hidden in my call?

To ensure the security and reliability of the website, there is an internal messaging function that ensures that the first contact between users takes place via a secure environment.

For this reason, contact details are hidden in help requests and offers. When the correspondence with another user via the messaging function goes well, contact details can be exchanged if necessary.

You can, when logged in, send a message to the other user by navigating to and opening the respective call. Under the request for help or the offer of help you will find the button 'Send a message'. We recommend that the first contact with other users goes through this function.

Organizations

There are more options for organizations to make their contact details known.

  • Firstly, it is possible to place the contact details in the organization profile. In the request for help or the offer of help, reference can then be made to this organizational profile. Users of the website can view this data when they are logged in. In this way we can still guarantee safety and reliability. How you can adjust the data in the organization profile can be read in this article: Changing organization data
  • Furthermore, it is possible for a user of the website to click on 'Show telephone number' at the bottom of the request for help or the offer of help. The telephone number is then again only visible when the user is logged in.
