The Stable Friends Foundation offers horse riding and daytime activities for people with disabilities. Since 2023 we have had our own accommodation on the Volmolenweg in Veldhoven. We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys helping in and around the stables. Who likes to be physically active, is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get dirty, enjoys working outdoors and enjoys a pleasant working environment. You can determine your own pace and days/times are negotiable. The work consists of mucking out stables/paddocks, sweeping, spreading the stables, filling hay nets and, if necessary,... putting horses inside/outside.
The Kempenmuseum has many nice packages. For example, visitors often come for our Smuggling Route. In the morning it's coffee with flan, then a museum visit and then lunch. For this we are looking for volunteers men and women who like to take care of the pie and lunch. The lunch comes from a catering company, so we don't have to make it ourselves. It is mainly about serving and cleaning up. You work in a team depending on the size of the group. And after lunch, visitors board the bus for the real Smokkelroute. For more information, please contact Riny Bullens via email [email address hidden] or by telephone on [phone number hidden]. We would like to hear from you!
Do you like concerts? Are metal, punk, rock and screeching guitars your thing? Then read on quickly! My name is Manon and I am 30 years old and I live in Veldhoven. I like going to concerts. For example, I went to Green Day in Antwerp, Sabaton in Amsterdam and Papa Roach in Tilburg. Because of my autism, it is important to me that there is someone with me whom I can rely on. Until now, my mother has always accompanied me, but I think it would also be very nice to be able to do this with a quiet buddy. I don't like unpredictability and am easily overstimulated. I also don't like it when people suddenly touch me. That is why I cannot travel by public transport and it is important that a buddy has a driver's license and has a car at his disposal. Despite my autism, I really enjoy the music and the atmosphere of a concert. Would you like to support me during these outings, do you also like to visit a concert and are screaming guitars also your thing? Then contact MEE. The cost of the ticket and the travel costs will be reimbursed by me.

Nando (33) is an open, social boy with a good sense of humor from Veldhoven. Nando is often busy with chores around the house on weekdays. In his spare time, he enjoys playing games and watching Discovery Chanel and football matches on television. Due to his epilepsy, Nando cannot go out alone, always accompanied by his girlfriend and family. Activities outside the home are an obstacle for Nando, because he fears that he will suffer from his epilepsy outside the home. Workgroup Refugee Work Eersel helps beneficiaries and refugees with their integration into the municipality of Eersel. The volunteers of the working group support them in various areas. Think of showing you the way, being a buddy or offering administrative support. When assisting beneficiaries with civic integration, the aim is often naturalization. In addition, the working group also supports (Ukrainian) refugees who are currently being taken care of by the municipality of Eersel. As a volunteer you understand the situation in which the status holder finds himself. Finding your way in a completely new environment without a social network is quite a task. Especially if you have little or no command of the language. Kindness and patience are important qualities for a volunteer. Does this appeal to you, are you flexible and do you have a minimum of 4 hours available each week to supervise status holders? Please contact us. We would like to meet you to discuss the possibilities.
I am an enthusiastic 60+. single with no real friends and family nearby. Not just a question but also offer myself for many things. I am single. Limited mobility. Left knee and ankle since 1975 have had a Pacemaker since January 7, 2021.. Have to go back regularly for day admission for check-ups and sometimes minor procedures. I now need some help and a sensitive ear. I am limited mobile and would sometimes like to get some help. A buddy to do and undertake some things together. I just can't find the motivation and the goal. Maybe a conversation, a trip, a message, drinking a cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit, etc. A little help in the garden and some small things more to motivate me than to cooperate. I sometimes lack the motivation. Someone there to encourage me and sometimes to say, wouldn't you stop. Time for tea or soft drinks. I really do bigger things myself. More support with the emotion as written before. Maybe go somewhere together sometime. I am a fanatic person towards German. I do my shopping there at least once a month (Kaufland. Real, Hornbach, Globus, DM, Trinkgut) saves carts of stuff for the same money. I am well informed about Nord-Rhein Westfalen and Saarland. What matters to me is to fill my days, week and weekend. I am technically trained and have also been a teacher for 10 years. I have also helped people to learn Dutch in a practical and realistic way. Eh phonetically and not the abc. Language is not only about being able to say the alphabet in Haarlem (ABN) but better to recognize and remember the sounds. Comprehension language education. Furthermore, I am very strong in numbers. In that respect I am a kind of almanac and math genius. So I can help with studies from primary school to HBO (technology). Could give (extra) lessons. I have a lot of patience with children from 4 to 100 years old. My hobbies are also in my profile. I am active in (road and grass, sand and cinder track) motorsport (been). In car racing (touring cars, Porsche Cup) I still have an official function. I do NOT skip a Nascar and Indycar race on TV. I find F1 mediocre as an activity. I am more of a touring car man. 24 hour races, Nascar, DTM, Britcar, Belcar, DSC etc. to watch for a day, evening or night. My hobbies are also my garden with pond (wonderfully clear) with 80 fish, most of which are native (carp, roach, tench). I also have a tropical atmosphere aquarium. I am a real talker and am very enthusiastic to talk and discuss about that and all other current topics. Sometimes I need someone who dares to say STOP. Due to my experience-based knowledge, I have a fairly strict worldview. This may be strange to many people. Oh I am broadly educated and I am crazy about numbers, percentages, promilages (no alcohol). Also given my technical background and knowledge of food, pharma, cosmetics, production and processes and methods, Further resources for mechanical elements and machines I could do something in that as a volunteer for restorations of??? My main goal is to find contacts, friends and activities to get out of the negative spiral. also see my profile and offer
